Twenty-one-year-old Hawke's Bay allrounder Toby Findlay has gained his first professional cricket contract with the Central Stags

Twenty-one-year-old Hawke's Bay allrounder Toby Findlay has gained his first professional cricket contract with the Central Stags

Findlay's elevation follows veteran allrounder Doug Bracewell declining his Stags contract for the upcoming season as he strives to play in T20 competitions offshore.

Bracewell intends to remain available to play for the Stags this summer when he's in New Zealand, but is unable to commit to the Super Smash T20 competition window - a condition of all Black Caps and domestic contracts offered by New Zealand Cricket and the six Major Associations.
