Police continue to swarm Levin as they investigate a spate of gang-related shootings in the town earlier this week

Police continue to swarm Levin as they investigate a spate of gang-related shootings in the town earlier this week

Two people have gunshot wounds, and a house and a shed have been shot at - in four separate firearm incidents.

Officers declared a Gang Conflict Warrant on Thursday allowing them to search vehicles belonging to those involved for weapons.

So far they've recovered four guns and a large knife.

Manawatu Area Commander, Inspector Ross Grantham says police are making ongoing enquiries into drug importation and dealing.
