A farming company's been charged with releasing 180,000 litres of dairy effluent into a Hawkes Bay stream last year

A farming company's been charged with releasing 180,000 litres of dairy effluent into a Hawkes Bay stream last year

The Hawke's Bay Regional Council found effluent from Patoka Farm flowed into the Mangatutu Stream and in turn the Tutaekuri River

This led to the closure of a popular swimming spot last Christmas Eve.

The first court hearing will be in mid-April
