    Otaki residents are being asked to keep an eye out for a propeller that fell from a plane before it crashed


    A pilot was killed when his Sonex amateur-built fixed wing aircraft crashed in Hautere on Monday last week.

    The Civil Aviation Authority says the plane's propeller is missing, believed to be near the Otaki township.

    Anyone who finds it is asked to leave it, take a photo and email the CAA.
