    Hawke's Bay Police have taken two men into custody, after an alleged drive by shooting early on Sunday morning


    Two men were taken to hospital with moderate to serious injuries about 12.30am at Napier's West Quay.

    Police apprehended two men after a short pursuit near Whakatu, who are now assisting with the investigation.

    Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the shooting to contact them.
