Police are seeking information regarding the death of a man who was found on Hokio Beach, near Levin

Police are seeking information regarding the death of a man who was found on Hokio Beach, near Levin

The man's death isn't considered suspicious, but police want to establish the circumstances around it.

They're looking to speak to anyone who was in the area when the man was last seen - between midnight and 2am on Thursday.

They also want to speak to two males who helped tow a stuck vehicle at the beach in a white ute - possibly a Ford Ranger, with "Wild Trax'' written on the rear.

Police say they've got no reason to believe they were involved, but they may have valuable information.
