Hawke's Bay Police are appealing for help over several serious assaults in Hastings, early yesterday

Hawke's Bay Police are appealing for help over several serious assaults in Hastings, early yesterday

Officers were called to a large fight on King Street about 3.30am.

Five people received hospital treatment for injuries, some inflicted by a weapon.

Police are speaking with people involved but would like to hear from any witnesses to assaults.

They'd also like any CCTV or dashcam footage from around King Street between 3-and-4am.
