    Issues with social media platform X are holding up the removal of name suppression for the man accused of murdering police officer Lyn Fleming


    The 32-year-old man has pleaded NOT guilty to killing the Nelson Police Senior Sergeant on New Year's Day.

    He appeared in court today, where he also denied charges of attempted murder and grievous bodily harm -- but admitted drink driving and driving while disqualified.

    Open Justice Reporter, Tracy Neal says the accused still can't be named due to ongoing suppression orders, linked to the failure of X to remove prior articles, despite a take-down order.

    She says it's likely the Police will now become involved.
