    A new movement control area in Otago aims to support ongoing efforts to eradicate bovine TB


    Disease eradication agency OSPRI's restrictions cover livestock in Tarras, Lindis Valley, the upper Manuherikia, and parts of Ida Valley.

    The measure is precautionary, helping limit disease spread.

    Infected herds in the region have dropped to five, though central Otago remains a hotspot due to local possums.
