    Otago University's Proctor is investigating an incident involving 50 students shooting fireworks at each other and at Police


    Emergency services were called to Castle Street on Monday night, where two people were arrested.

    Police say several people deliberately fired fireworks towards officers, narrowly missing them.

    The University says it's extremely disappointed by the dangerous and unacceptable behaviour.

    It says disciplinary action is possible, and it urges students to act responsibly and think carefully before using any fireworks this Guy Fawkes.
