    An overseas national has received critical head injuries in central Queenstown


    Police say the 33 year old man was found at the top of the Turner Street cul-de-sac about 6am.

    He's now in Queenstown Lakes Hospital

    Senior Sergeant Glenn Wilkinson says it's believed he was in the vicinity of Turner and Hallenstein streets from about 2am.

    Police are keen to hear from anyone in that area at the time.
