    Dairy farmers say transparency is needed to deal with murky labelling of milk


    Australian dairy farmers want restrictions around what can be labelled as a milk product, and say it should only be applied to bovine dairy products.

    Federated Farmers dairy spokesperson Chris Lewis agrees the current labelling can be misleading.

    Lewis says milk from a mammal is fine, but nut milks should be properly labelled as a juice product.
