Black Sox coach Mark Sorenson believes New Zealand has the right mix of players to be a serious contender to win an eighth world softball crown, next month in Auckland

The 16-strong squad has seven rookies and a number of players with multiple world titles.

Eight players - including captain Cole Evans - back up from the side that finished fourth in 2019... while Sorenson has selected three sets of brothers, including Ben and Thomas Enoka.
