    The Black Sox launch into the second phase of their Softball World Cup preparation tonight, meeting Canada in the opening round of an invitational tournament in Palmerston North


    In addition to tonight's game, New Zealand will play Argentina and Japan tomorrow followed by matches with Australia and the Czech Republic on Sunday.

    Coach Mark Sorenson expects competition to be fierce.



    First pitch is at 7.30pm.
