The Auckland Business Chamber says it will be good to see the city represented on the stage

Mayor Wayne Brown is taking off today with Trade Minister Todd McClay and a trade delegation to Brazil.

McClay will also be attending the G20 summit while there.

Chamber CEO Simon Bridges says while Brown may get criticism for going, he will be able to open doors that others won't.

He says Auckland is the economic powerhouse of the country.
