Hopes a new City Council will improve business confidence in Wellington

Hopes a new City Council will improve business confidence in Wellington

A new survey by the local Chamber of Commerce has found almost two thirds are performing the same or worse financially, than the same time last year.

Just 10 percent are optimistic the capital's economy will be substantially better in a year

Chair Greg Pollock says the city needs council, Government and business to work together.

He believes no matter who wins the election, they'll have a more pro-business council.
