    Multi million dollar loans are being offered to two Southland food producers to help them expand


    5.3 million dollars will go to Alliance Group Limited's conversion of its Lorneville venison processing plant to include beef processing.

    It will create 20 new jobs and extend the season by 10 to to 12 weeks.

    Drysdale Hydroponics will receive a loan of up to 2.5 million dollars to diversify.

    The expansion to include tomatoes, capsicums, strawberries and micro-greens will create 30 new jobs
