Kiwi customer data from Bloom Hearing Specialists - could have got onto the dark web

Kiwi customer data from Bloom Hearing Specialists - could have got onto the dark web

The Australian company was hacked in July, with breaches of customer and employee data, including bank accounts, patient records and insurance information.

It has 21 clinics in New Zealand.

Bloom's latest online alert, reveals an ongoing risk data could be publish online - or disclosed to third parties.

It's contacted the New Zealand Privacy Commissioner and law enforcement.

It warns this increases the chance customers could be targeted by fraud, extortion and identity-related crimes.
