The New Zealand Franchise sector's grown by more than 10-billion dollars in the last three years

The New Zealand Franchise sector's grown by more than 10-billion dollars in the last three years

Massey University's report estimates the sectors valued at 47.2 billion dollars, excluding motor vehicle and fuel retail sales.

There's 546 franchisers, with around 27-thousand stores - dropping nine percent since 2021.

Franchise Association CEO Robyn Pickerill says the sector's proven to be resilient.

She says franchises begin, with support and systems that are already proven.
