Mounting concerns, about the potential impact of Donald Trump's latest tariff hike on Kiwi exporters

Mounting concerns, about the potential impact of Donald Trump's latest tariff hike on Kiwi exporters

Goods from New Zealand and several other countries will be hit with a 15-percent tariff from Friday, but goods from some countries like Australia and the UK will continue face a 10-percent tariff.

Christopher Luxon admits New Zealand probably won't convince Trump to change his mind.

NZ Winegrowers Advocacy Manager Sarah Wilson says New Zealand could be put at a competitive disadvantage.

She says while the EU is also facing a 15-percent tariff rate, it's concerning that other countries will face a lower tariff rate.
