    Synlait's chair says today's vote to take a lifeline is a relief


    Shareholders have okayed taking out a 130 million dollar loan from its biggest shareholder - Bright Dairy.

    It means Synlait can meet an urgent debt payment due on Monday.

    Chair George Adams says shareholders strongly supported the deal.

    He says the deal was supported by 99.6 percent of shareholders.
