Infrastructure company Chorus's annual report shows average usage is now about three-times higher than eight years ago, surpassing Covid lockdowns.
Average daily network traffic continues to peak during the 9pm hour.
There are now almost 1.1 million fibre connections, and more than a thousand installed each week.
Chorus is reporting a net after-tax loss of nine-million dollars - partly due to a one-off tax expense.
