Synlait is hoping new funding will reassure its spooked farmers

Shareholders have approved a 218-million dollar capital injection by shareholders, A2 Milk and Bright Dairy, to help pay off debt.
Some farmers had handed cessation notices, saying they'd eventually stop supplying milk - as the company struggled with finances.
Board chair, George Adams, says they'll talk with farmers - and hope to remove the notices.
He says without milk, they don't have a business.
