    Lauren Bruce hopes she and fellow hammer thrower Julia Ratcliffe push each other towards the Tokyo Olympics, if they go ahead


    Bruce beat the Commonwealth Games gold medallist's Oceania record with a 73.47 metre heave in the Hawke's Bay at the weekend.

    She says the pair both want to get the best from their abilities.
