Amanda Anisimova is out for revenge against Simona Halep in the Wimbledon quarter finals tonight

Amanda Anisimova is out for revenge against Simona Halep in the Wimbledon quarter finals tonight

The 20th seeded American meets former champion Halep for a place in the semis having lost to the Romanian just before Wimbledon at Eastbourne.

Warriors boss Cameron George insists he and Reece Walsh looked at a number of different ways to work around his personal circumstances, but decided moving was the best option.

Walsh has been granted permission to discuss terms with his former club the Broncos after expressing a desire to stay in Brisbane to be closer to his daughter.

George says they couldn't make it work.

The women's Black Sticks are eyeing a massive opportunity at the Hockey World Cup in the Netherlands and Spain.

This morning's 3-1 win over England has New Zealand top of Pool B and knowing a win or possibly a draw against India on Friday morning will send them directly to the quarter finals as Pool winners.
