The Black Foils are happy to have the momentum on their side heading into the Sail GP Grand Final

The Black Foils are happy to have the momentum on their side heading into the Sail GP Grand Final

Victory at the penultimate event in New York this morning has given the New Zealand team a 15 point buffer from nearest rivals Australia.

Driver Peter Burling says it's only made them more determined ahead of the title-deciding regatta in San Francisco early next month.

The Black Foils win in New York guarantees them a place in the top-three winner-takes-all final race in San Francisco.
