Banned NRL rugby league player Junior Amone has pleaded guilty to assault after spitting on a woman during a heated argument in a pub

The former Tongan and St George stand off was arrested in August after the incident in Wollongong.

Amone is unable to be registered in the NRL until at least next year after attacking a tradesman with a hammer in 2022.
