Golfer Steve Alker hasn't taken long to rediscover the form that led him to the season-long title on last year's PGA Champions Tour

The New Zealander's won the fourth tournament on the 2025 seniors calendar - birdieing the first playoff hole to beat American Jason Caron in Tucson, Arizona.

While top results haven't eluded him - Alker says it feels nice to break a winning-drought of almost 14 months.

The win is Alker's ninth on the seniors tour - lifting him to second in this season's overall standings.

American Russell Henley tuned up for this week's Players Championship by winning the PGA Tour's Arnold Palmer Invitational.
