Canterbury are showing no signs of relinquishing their dominance of the 20-25 men's NPC

Canterbury are showing no signs of relinquishing their dominance of the 20-25 men's NPC

The red-and-blacks have won their fifth straight game, thrashing Manawatu 53-14 in Rangiora.

The Cantabs remain the only unbeaten team in that competition.

Second-placed Taranaki won their fourth game from five, the Bulls roaring home 43-22 against Counties Manukau in Pukekohe.

In the women's FPC, the unbeaten Otago Spirit have pushed on from their 17-15 halftime lead over the Tasman Mako in Nelson to lead 41-15, into the final 10 minutes.

Earlier, the Counties Manukau Heat easily accounted for the Hawke's Bay Tui, 65-14 ... while the Manawatu Cyclones edged the Auckland Storm 22-21.
