    NRL league is bracing for a hush in Sydney, with the possibility of no play-off matches in the game's biggest city during the opening week of the finals


    Cronulla's 40-16 win over Newcastle locked in the six teams who could host finals matches, with the Bulldogs and Sharks the only Sydney-based outfits.

    Regardless, only three men's matches will be played in the city beyond the end of the regular season, including the October 5 finale.
