Torrie Lewis will aim to shock the world when she runs in the women's 100m semifinals.

Reece Holder flew out of the blocks to make the 400m semifinal, running just 0.01 slower than his personal best despite badly tightening up in the closing stages.

Earlier, Jakob Ingebrigtsen failed to reach the semifinal of the men's 1,500m, alongside all three Aussie runners.
