Warriors assistant coach Slade Griffin is highlighting Mitch Barnett's impact on the club's younger forwards

The prop will depart at the end of the NRL league season after being granted a release on compassionate grounds for family reasons.

Griffin says Barnett supported the development and confidence of now-first graders Tanner Stowers-Smith, Jacob Laban, Leka Halasima and Demitric Vaimauga.
