    They've eked out a 69-66 win over the Philippines in Manila.

    New Zealand lost their last game to Australia courtesy of a three-point bank shot on the buzzer in December.

    Coach Judd Flavell welcomed being on the right side of a close contest.



    The Tall Blacks face Guam next on Sunday.
