Denis Shapovalov will head into 2019 mindful of his workload

Denis Shapovalov will head into 2019 mindful of his workload

The Canadian world number 27 played a total of 27 tournaments this year including his maiden appearance at Auckland's ASB Classic.

Shapovalov will return to Auckland next year to start his international season and feels he'll be able to play better by shortening his schedule.

He says he wanted to play everything this year and next year he understands what each tournament brings and will plan accordingly.
