The Indian Panthers are taking shape ahead of their entry into the New Zealand men's basketball league

The Indian Panthers are taking shape ahead of their entry into the New Zealand men's basketball league

Former Tall Black Miles Pearce will coach the South Auckland-based side.

They've only revealed the signing of two players, given their first regular season game is a week today against Hawke's Bay in Napier.

The Panthers were forced to miss a pre-season tournament in Westport this week due to visa issues.

The roster is set to predominantly feature Indian national players - along with New Zealanders and the three permitted overseas imports.
