The Crusaders may have the most prolific attack in Super Rugby Pacific, but that hasn't helped prop George Bower on his crusade for a try in professional rugby

The Crusaders may have the most prolific attack in Super Rugby Pacific, but that hasn't helped prop George Bower on his crusade for a try in professional rugby

The 32-year-old is yet to score across 127 first-class matches - 77 for the Crusaders, 28 for Otago and 22 for the All Blacks.

Fellow prop Tamaiti Williams dotted down last week against the Blues.

Bower's daring to dream that his moment will soon arrive.

Bower will start at loosehead tonight against Moana Pasifika ... kickoff's at five past seven.

First up though, it's the unbeaten Blues hosting second-placed Matatu in Whangarei from just after 2... then another Aupiki women's game at 4.35 as the winless Hurricanes Poua host the Chiefs Manawa in Upper Hutt.

Live commentary on Gold Sport and iHeart Radio.
