Confirmation that a fifth Silver Fern will play her domestic netball in Australia next season

The Sunshine Coast Lightning have officially announced Karin Burger as part of their squad for 2026.

It comes after the Mainland Tactix confirmed earlier today that the 32-year-old defender was leaving the ANZ Premiership franchise.

Burger joins fellow current Silver Ferns Grace Nweke , Kelly Jackson, Maddy Gordon and Kate Heffernan in crossing the ditch for next season.
