A baptism of fire for new Chiefs coach Jono Gibbes to start their 2026 Super Rugby campaign

They'll face three Kiwi derbies in as many weeks - away to the Blues and Highlanders away in rounds one and two, before welcoming the Crusaders in a rematch of this year's final in round three.

After three matches at their old venue - the Crusaders will move to their new covered stadium for their last four regular season matches from late April.

Coach Rob Penney says the draw is the draw.
