    Injured Warriors halfback Luke Metcalf's setting his sights on returning to the game at around the quarter-mark of next year's NRL season


    The number seven claims to be about halfway through his recovery, but says he's already making good progress - running and changing direction in training.

    Metcalf is chomping at the bit come round one in 2026, but he has to play it smart.
