The Social Development Minister says boosting benefit payments is an enduring change for Kiwis

The Social Development Minister says boosting benefit payments is an enduring change for Kiwis

The Government's announced benefits will increase by more than three percent from April - in line with wages.

Sole parents will get almost 10-dollars-50 more a week - nearly double the increase they would have otherwise got this year.

Carmel Sepuloni says it's not a one-off cash injection - and will develop over time.
