A union representing frontline border workers says we need to support those who can't get vaccinated due to health reasons

Jacinda Ardern says those who haven't been vaccinated need to start being moved into "low risk" roles from Monday.

This includes people working at managed isolation facilities, airports and ports.

E tu union organiser Mat Danaher says people who can't get the jab due to medical reasons or because they're pregnant -- shouldn't suffer.

He says it won't be acceptable to make people redundant, or fire them.
