They are the Nathan Homestead in Manurewa, The Remuera Library, The Titirangi War Memorial Hall and Library and the Leys Institute Library and Gymnasium.
The work on the four buildings will cost 22 million dollars.
The oldest building was built in 1906 while the most recent opened in 1965.
The funding package is expected to be approved at the council's planning, environment and parks committee today.
