About 230 jobs are on the line at Tokoroa's Kinleith Mill

About 230 jobs are on the line at Tokoroa's Kinleith Mill

Oji Fibre Solutions has confirmed it plans to permanently shut its paper production operation, and import paper for packaging operations.

It says making paper hasn't been profitable for years, and it doesn't see that changing.

It still doesn't know exactly how many roles will be affected.

Oji will make a final decision in late January, on ceasing production at the end of June.
