Affirmation of the value of teacher-only days - after Erica Stanford publicly corrected the Associate Education Minister

Education Minister Stanford's said David Seymour overstepped his authority, in saying he'd crack down on days when children can't attend.
President Vaughan Couillault says the Ministry of Education have made it clear they're important.

He says it's when schools collaborate with each other - and are crucial when a fresh curriculum's rolled out to embed its implementation.
