The Crown's considering selling its 61 percent stake in telecoms infrastructure company, Chorus.
Finance Minister Nicola Willis claims most Kiwis wouldn't even know it owned it.
But Labour's Chris Hipkins says it makes more sense to hold on to it.
He says now the broadband rollout's complete, the securities will have to be repaid - giving the public some profit.
