The Police Minister's gone head to head with ACT's David Seymour during a debate on gun law reform

The Police Minister's gone head to head with ACT's David Seymour during a debate on gun law reform

The Arms Legislation Bill passed its second reading last night... bringing in a firearms register.

But Seymour - a vocal critic of the Government's reforms - claims elements of the bill are counterproductive.

Stuart Nash says ACT's former leader John Banks would've supported it.

He says Banks said following last year's Christchurch terror attack, the greatest disappointment of his political life was his failure to change gun laws after the mass murder in Aramoana in 1990.
