    Momentum is building on Auckland Transport's 1.4 billion dollar Eastern Busway


    Fletcher, Acciona, AECOM and Jacobs have been selected to form an Auckland Transport-led alliance to design, consent and build the last stages of the project.

    Mayor Phil Goff says it' a major step forward in delivering rapid transit and improved travel options for people in the eastern and southern suburbs.

    The project will include new walking and cycling connections and improvements for general traffic.

    It's expected to be completed in 2025.
