Te Pati Maori says the new Government's anti-Maori policy is drawing the world's attention

Te Pati Maori says the new Government's anti-Maori policy is drawing the world's attention

The party has tripled its caucus, returning after the election with six MPs -- having toppled senior Labour ministers in key Maori electorates.

Co-leader Debbie Ngarewa-Packer says the new Government is not acting in the interests of Maori, and describes it as a shameful period in New Zealand history.

She says the party has more interviews internationally than domestically now, and the world is watching in horror at the way this new Government has attacked Maori.
