The Taxpayers' Union says the Government's credibility and brand will be damaged if it under-delivers on tax relief

The Taxpayers' Union says the Government's credibility and brand will be damaged if it under-delivers on tax relief

The Prime Minister confirmed this morning the Budget in May won't include new taxes.

Chris Luxon says the Government's determined to deliver tax relief to low and middle income workers.

Union spokesperson, Jordan Williams, says it's concerning Luxon talked about possibly raising revenue in other areas to fund it.

He says New Zealanders are too smart to fall for a Government that gives with one hand - but is taking with another.
