Changes to the RMA are likely to please developers and leave environmentalists dispirited

Minister-in-charge Chris Bishop says a resource management system that's guided by property rights will be introduced mid-2025.

The Coalition's scrapped Labour's reforms and resurrected the mammoth 1991 RMA, and will tweak it this year.
